Crazy Lego Creations -- Part 1

Just a pile of bricks?
In a step away from my usual posts, I decided to put together a compilation of some of the coolest mechanical Lego creations that I know of...

The Rules:
1: All machines featured must be created out of Legos.
2: All machines featured must complete some sort of task.

Robot 1:

For starters, here is a fully automated paper plane folding machine created by Mindstorms user hknssn13. As seen in the sped-up video above, it automatically grabs a sheet of paper from a paper tray, then puts it through a series of folding movements, giving it wings. It finally slides the plane onto a mini launchpad, and sends it hurtling off into the air. Below is a picture of the full device.

Robot 2:

Stepping up the speed, Lego creation CubeStormer II solves the Rubik's Cube puzzle faster than the human world record. I enjoy this Lego creation mainly because of it's incredible speed.

Robot 3:

Musical Legos. Here is a Lego creation which plays a couple of guitars and creates a pretty sad blues song. The song doesn't sound that great, but I just thought it would be cool to add a little musical touch to this post.

Robot 4:

A Lego flamethrower. There are several of these out there on the internet, but I decided to include this one specifically because it is one piece and does not require the user to hold a lighter in front of it. A modified version below produces quite a bit more flame...no wonder Legos are dangerous to your health.

Robot 5:

The Lego Axle Sorter AS-L40A is a very useful machine used to sort out Lego pieces. This handy tool could definitely solve my problems with finding that specific Lego piece lost in the giant pile of Legos that spread across my bedroom's floor for most of my childhood.

The End:

Ok, so there were five of the most incredible Lego creations I've seen yet.
