Human Immortality by 2045
Russian scientists lead by Dmitry Itskov are looking to reshape human society and bring immortality to humans by 2045. Do you think it's possible? Or do you think the whole project is doomed to failure?
Dmitry's project consists of four separate stages.
Stage one, from 2015-2020, is when the goal of creating a robotic copy of a human body remotely controlled via BIC is supposed to become a reality. A human surrogate.
Stage Two, from 2020-2025, is when they plan to take a human brain and transplant it into a robotic avatar at the end of one's life.
Stage three, 2030-2035, is when they plan to transfer one's personality into an artificial brain at the end of one's life.
And finally stage four, 2040-2045, is when they hope to "download" one's self into digital form and thus finally reach immortality by storing your "being" ,your thoughts and emotions, basically on the internet, where you will live for eternity as a virtual avatar.
Here is a promotional video for the project. Watching it might give you a little more of an idea of what Dmitry really plans to do...
