Motion Simulators
Video games. Violent and action filled.
For years video games have tried to excite all of your senses, from stunning visual graphics, to engrossing high quality sound, to shaking controllers...but how about a little bit more interaction?
Motion simulators are now able to recreate the movement experienced by a racecar driver or an airplane pilot. You can now feel the jerk of changing gear, the dizziness from turning a corner, and the jarring shake of a sudden stop or collision into another vehicle.
Does the future of gaming lie in more intensive simulators or recreations of actual phenomenons...or will gaming remain more of a less immersive, more relaxing experience.
It's hard to speculate on this topic, considering that I have never experienced a motion simulator, it's definitely on my to do list though. It just looks like a ton of fun.
