Bionic Girlfriend
...or so you thought.
Ok, so it's still really jerky and it sounds very inhuman, but still it's quite a step up from these guys:
By the way, shame on you if you don't remember these guys...actually you have to be pretty old to remember these guys...wow, how old am I? Well you know your old when you start talking about Nintendo 64 and nobody understands what your talking about...and my mom is reading this and laughing, "You old? You can't even imagine life without a cellphone!"
So where is this robotics thing taking us?
The question at this point isn't 'Will we be able to achieve life like robots' the question is what is the ultimate purpose of our pursuit of human Surrogates? Good movie by the way, Bruce Willis is awesome, any Sci-fi / tech fan should definitely see it.... I mean are we so tormented with our own imperfection that we seek to replace ourselves with cold emotionless robots?
Or are we just revealing that beneath the warm bloodied flesh of a war torn world, there lies the cold metallic interior of our society's image of a 'perfect human'...
Whenever some one tries to tell me that robots will someday take over the world, I just shake my head...dude, they already have. I mean think about it, what is the number of computers to humans? Hmm? Didn't think about that huh?
